Tatsuya has been doing Kabaddi for almost a month now. He is determined to learn to play on a team, but his tendency to play solo sometimes rears its head during defense training, because he wants to be able to handle a mugger on his own. He decides to put his pride aside and seek advice from his more experienced teammates.
S1 E5: The Match Begins
Masato Ôjô, captain of Nôkin High School's Kabaddi club, is finally out of the hospital. Determined to help his team's new recruits improve, he decides to organize their first training match against another high school.
S1 E6: Chase X Counterattack
The match between the high school teams of Nôkin and Sôwa has just begun. Thanks to Tatsuya's dazzling play, Nôkin leads by 3 points to 2. But the formidable Sôwa players have another trick up their sleeves and deploy Ren Takaya, Japan's former best swimmer and genius substitute.
S1 E7: Struggle
The second half of the practice match between Nôkin and Sôwa begins after Masato succeeded in completely eliminating the opponent. The Nôkin players, having drawn courage from their captain's stunning display, prepare to fight with all their might to secure victory.
S1 E8: Team Applicants
Despite losing to Sôwa by one point, the Nôkin team remains determined to train for the tournament in August. However, they do not have enough players to form a full team. So a search is launched for new talent for the Kabaddi club.
S1 E9: A Battle of Wills
Nôkin's Kabaddi club continues to practice defending against Masato, but neither team has managed to take him on so far. As Kyôhei ponders his strategy, he thinks back to the first time he joined the club....
S1 E10: Because He's the Ace
To encourage the members of the Nôkin kabaddi club, Kei decides to organize a practice match against the high school team of Saitama Kôyô. Saitama Kôyô was founded by two former students of Kei and Masato, and although it is still young, it finished in the top eight of the last winter tournament. The reunion match promises to be intense!
S1 E11: The Direction We're Aiming
The practice match between Nôkin and Kôyô is in full swing. Nôkin leads by 9 points and Kôyô is in a desperate situation, but Manabu seems determined to prove his worth as a raider thanks to Hiro's encouragement. Can Nôkin's defense survive the merciless final wave of attacks?
S1 E12: After Giving Every Last Drop
After a terrible mistake by Kyôhei, Nôkin is 5 points behind Kôyô as the second half draws to a close. With Masato offside, it is up to Tatsuya to try to turn this desperate situation around with a substitution. The end of the match promises to be more than explosive!
